The K40 Sack tipping cabinet complete with integral dust extraction system and waste sack compaction is the ideal method of opening sack. The K40 is capable of handling 40 to 100 bags per hour in a dust free manor. Higher through-puts are achievable using Kockums K400 Automatic sack opener.

The sacks are positioned on the sack resting shelf by the operator, the side of the sack is manually cut with a knife, and the sack tipped up to empty its contents. The waste sack is passed through the rear of the cabinet to the sack compactor, and the product drops into the hopper. Any dust generated is drawn away from the operator by the dust extraction system.
