Bridging the gap between the Kockums Microveyor and Dense Phase Conveying Systems is the “MIDIVEYOR”
The Midiveyor pneumatic conveying system has been developed to cope with the medium duty “dense phase” transfer of powder or granular products. With a little more instrumentation than the smaller Microveyor, the Midiveyor is capable of transfer rates in the 4000kg -12000kg/hr range. The majority of applications are between 10 -100m, however most Midiveyor models incorporate an aeration system, so distances up to 200m are possible, particularly with fine and superfine powders.
As with any pneumatic conveying systems the convenience of a pipeline prevails, allowing the system to negotiate between existing equipment and structures.
The Midiveyor is available with two basic valve options; the Inflatable Seat Butterfly Valve and the heavy duty rugged Dome Valve with is ideal when handling abrasive or where high temperatures are present.
The Midiveyor may be configured to run from a plant air supply or a dedicated Kockums Wing Compressor power pack.
