Kockums Cone valve technology has been developed for use within our Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC’s).  The IBC is placed onto one of our discharge docking stations where it engages with an actuated probe and is lifted creating an annulus type opening for materials flow. Raising the cone in its self-disturbs the material within the IBC promoting flow. The probe can be fully automated to simple raise and lower, pulse, and/or vibrate at a variety of frequencies depending on the application and material being handled. With total control of the cone valve the IBC can be quickly emptied or material dosed out gradually often utilising a weigh system when recipe batching. Once a batch is complete the IBC with its partial content can be simply lifted,  removed and placed back into storage.
